Time flies some say
Life is short say others
Not that anyone can live
Faster than anyone else
Or have accurate knowledge
Of when they are going to die
But they do keep repeating
How life is short
And time flies
Because each day lived
Is one day closer
To the inevitable truth
That one day in the future
Will be the last day
Of their breath on this earth
But for those who have
Accepted Jesus
As Christ Lord and Savior
Will continue on living
For eternity
In heaven
