Nothing

Do you know when the lightening will strike?
No
Do you know when the wind will blow?
No
Do you know how many stars are in the sky?
No
Do you know how hot it will be this summer?
Not exactly
Do you know the winning lottery numbers?
No
Do you know more than what you don't know?
Certainly not
If you divide what you know by what you don't know what would it amount to?
Nothing
So basically you don't know anything
You are correct
How do you reconcile?
All I know is that I am alive
And I know how to live forever
That knowledge is all I need to know

Living On The Edge

With the world population
Of seven billion and rising
And every individual having unique
Possibly close but not exactly
Same personalities
It is only statistically inevitable
That somewhere at some time
Or at any time
There is an individual who
Is doing something
At the edge of the bell curve
Outrageously out of the average
But not crazy
Living on the edge
An edge becoming harder
And harder to achieve
As the society as a whole
Once under a bell curve
Is slowly but surely
And ever more steadily
Becoming a flat line
